Diabetes is one of the leading causes of mortality and reduced life expectancy. Approximately 463 million adults (aged 20 to 79 years) are living with diabetes, and by 2030, this number is expected to rise to 570 million. Maintaining normal blood sugar levels is a very important part of avoiding long-term health issues.
