About this Course
Nutrition plays a critical role in rehabilitation and the quality of life as people age. Balancing the need for diets to support longevity and health is critical when working with older adults. This workshop focuses on addressing age-related nutritional challenges along with providing dietary and hydration strategies to help you care and provide support for someone in their later years.

Fees & Payment
ICCA Dubai’s IWP (Industry Internship / Work Experience Placement) Program is an industry integration initiative specially designed for students wishing to join the industry as Professional Chefs by way of regular employment or an internship leading to work placement.
The IWP Program is separately conducted in addition to the 620 hours of intensive on-campus guided learning and training, which comprise our Professional Program.
The IWP arrangements are in the form of either regular employment to begin with, or an industry internship generally of 6 to 12 months’ duration, successful completion of which would lead the student chef to a regular work placement.
Fees may be paid in AED by Cash, Cheque, Credit / Debit Cards, by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or through the Secured Payment Gateway provided in this website to ICCA Dubai, as convenient and applicable
Convenient Installment Plan is available for Local / UAE Admissions.The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission and the balance installment payment is required to be secured by a Post Dated Cheque (PDC).
International students are required to pay fees in advance to secure admission, hostel reservation and the UAE Visa.

We do not dispense any medical advice and recommend you discuss with your healthcare provider prior to making dietary changes. Yes, the following are the minimum entry requirements more specifically for the Professional Program -
English Language - You are required to have a working proficiency in the English language, (equivalent to an IELTS score of 5.5) as it is the medium of instruction is in the English language.
Minimum Education - Should have Passed Year 12 or equivalent.
Minimum Age - 16 years for Residents of the UAE and 18 years for international student admissions.
Medical Fitness - Must pass a medical examination for Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis (TB), AIDS / HIV, Leprosy, and Syphilis.
The classes are a combination of classroom lectures and demonstrations in ICCA Dubai’s award-winning training kitchen.
Absolutely! Please discuss your dietary requirements with our instructors and they can make suggestions on how to adapt recipes.
The practical component of the workshops takes place in our central kitchen lab. Therefore, we regret that we cannot accommodate students with severe food allergies at this time, due to the possibility of cross-contamination.
