A tender and moist vanilla cake layered with hazelnut cream, smothered in a rich & silky toffee sauce and marbled with a bit of cream making it perfect delight, to enjoy with family & friends.

For Cake
Eggs 5 nos
Icing sugar 125 gm
Flour 120 gm
Baking powder 5 gm
Cornflour 10 gm
Melted butter 70 gm
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
For Hazelnut Cream
Whipped cream 200 gm
Hazelnut syrup 60 gm
Icing sugar 20 gm
For Toffee Sauce
Sugar 300 gm
Cooking cream 150 gm
Butter 150 gm
For Chocolate Garnish
Dark Chocolate 200 gm
Cooking cream 100 gm
White chocolate 200 gm
Cooking cream 100 gm

 

Method of Preparation:

For the Cake 

  • First whisk egg and sugar until it become meringue.
  • Add flour, baking powder and cornflour slowly by folding with hand.
  • Add melted butter, mix properly and bake it for 30 minutes at 160 degrees.

For hazelnut cream

  • Mix everything with whipped cream.

For toffee sauce

  • First make caramel of sugar then add butter, at last add cream and mix until it get right consistency.

For chocolate garnish

  • Melt the chocolate and cream in microwave oven.
