A popular American Chinese dish made of Chicken & Cashews tossed in a thick gravy made of Soy & Oyster sauces, making it a delicious sweet and savoury Chicken dish, just like your favourite takeaway but then made easily at home.

Ingredients

20 g
Baby corn

30 g

Snow peas

20 g
Spring onions

15 g

Red onion

1 medium
Dark soy sauce

2 tbsp

Oyster sauce

2 tbsp
Brown sugar

1 tsp

Cooking oil

120 ml
Flour

3 tbsp

Salt and pepper

To taste
Dry chilies

3 pcs

Cashew nuts

2 tbsp

 

Method of Preparation:

  • Cut carrots, snow peas, baby corn, and spring onion evenly.
  • Slice the chicken breast into bite-size pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat with four.
  • Fry the chicken in a hot pan with oil until brown, and drain in a kitchen towel.
  • In a high heat wok, add cooking oil, fry the cashew nuts till brown and set aside.
  • In the same wok, add dry chills, onions, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, and fried chicken breast.
  • Toss for 2 mins. 6. Add all veg. 7. Season with salt and pepper. and finally, add the cashew nuts.
  • Serve hot.
